Put aside your rolling papers; “dabbing” has become one of the most common ways to consume smoking drugs. The term “dabbing” is used to describe a more potent and efficient kind of relaxation. Thanks to the availability of portable vaporizers, dabbing is now a viable lifestyle choice even when travelling. As such, consider this our introductory dabbing tutorial.
Just what is dabbing?
Dabbing refers to the practise of inhaling highly concentrated oils that have been heated to very high temperatures. The consequences of this method are both subtle and long-lasting. You can also consume cannabis through dabbing, eating edibles, rolling a joint, or smoking a bowl or pipe. Concentrates have a stronger effect than smoking flower since they have a larger concentration of active chemicals.
How to Dab You’ll need a tool to dab with, of course. Dabbing calls for a specialised implement. We will only discuss three of the many dabbing devices available: enail kit, e-nails, and vape pens. There are advantages and disadvantages to any product, and it’s up to the buyer to determine which ones are most important to him or her.
If you’re unfamiliar with the term, “Dab Rig” may have you scratching your head.
Dabbing is most commonly done using dab rigs, also called oil rigs. The key element of a dab rig is the nail, which is typically made of quartz, titanium, or ceramic. The dab rig’s glass chamber is where the nail is kept safe and sound throughout use.
A butane flame is used to heat the nail, and then concentrates are tapped into the hot surface with a dabber. This is done repeatedly until the nail is totally wet. You’ll inhale the vapour that the extracts have released. A glass dome is commonly used to cover the top of the container and prevent any vapour from escaping.
The use of dab rigs is still the most preferred method of consuming concentrates, despite the rising popularity of vape pens and e-Nails. They are slightly easier, and possibly safer, than the alternative.
